Why is quality so important?
Not All Grass Seed Is Created Equal.
Many people don’t realize it, but most grass seeds contain weeds. Sounds crazy, but it’s true. The next time you’re at the store, read the labels. It will tell you the percentage of “weed seed” and “other crop” contained in the bag. Even a small percentage of seeds in these categories can mean hundreds of weeds in your yard. At DreamLawn, we only use the best seed when we seed your lawn. We use Blue Tag certified premium seed that states 0% weed seed and 0% other crop. Our whole goal is to give you a healthy, weed-free lawn and starting with any weeds at all is just not acceptable.

We Plant the Right Grass Seed for Lawns in The Midwest
A thick healthy lawn is your best defense against weeds. Having the proper turf variety is a big piece of the beautiful lawn puzzle. Planting the right grass types will naturally give you better color, better coverage, and fewer problems like weeds, diseases, and pests. We recommend a mix of about 50% blue grass and 50% fescue grass seed.
The fescue grass seed allows the lawn to be tough and durable enough to withstand the heat and drought typical of summers. And the blue grass makes the lawn soft and green enough to look and feel good when walked on.
